At Robin Haydock Antiques we are very excited to announce that we are now  offering fine jewellery rentals for weddings and special events.

Due to many requests, you will now be able to hire a spectacular Diamond Tiara from our collection, for three days. Our scene stealing Diamond Tiara also converts to a dramatic Diamond Necklace, making it the truly versatile centrepiece for your special occasion (Day & Evening wear). When hiring our Tiara you may also select further items from a collection of magnificent jewellery, each piece carefully chosen by Robin from his curated range to add a further dimension to any occasion. Choose from an exquisite pair of Diamond & Pearl Earrings, a remarkable “Groseillier” style Diamond Necklace, a special selection of beautiful Diamond Brooches and much more.

A. High Carat  Yellow Gold & Silver 6 pointed Diamond Starburst Pendant / Brooch.  Engish. Circa 1880.

B. Art Deco Diamond Bracelet set in Platinum, English, Circa 1930.

C. 18ct White Gold Circular Diamond Brooch set with 1.10 Carats of F - G Colour Diamonds, Swedish Import Marks. Circa 1950.

D. Silver & Gold Diamond Brooch, attached with a pin which enables the brooch to be worn as a pendant. Circa 1890-1900.

E. Victorian Diamond Necklace in the (Foliate),  Feuilles De Groseilliere style, in 18ct Yellow gold and Silver in the form of an intermittent Riviere, French, Circa 1870.

F. Victorian Diamond Tiara, convertible to a Necklace. Late 19th Century.

G. Certificated Graduated Cultured Pearl Necklace with a Platinum & Diamond Clasp. Circa 1950.

H. Yellow Gold & Strung Cultured Pearl Necklace, set with four Round Cut Natural Sapphires (0.40 carats) and eighty three Oval and Near Shaped Cultured Pearls. Circa 1960.

I. Cultured Pearl & 4.04 Carat Diamond Drop Earrings, with adaptable fittings (may be worn with either clip or post fittings). Circa 1950.

Terms and conditions of Jewellery Hire

Specific items of jewellery may be hired at a charge of 3% of the retail value plus VAT for every period of 24 hours or part thereof (minimum period of three days.)

A full refundable deposit of 100% of the retail value of each item, in cleared funds, will be required upon collection.

We would of course ask that the items are returned in the condition in which they are released, and would recommend that customers take out temporary insurance cover for their own assurance.

Please be aware that any form of hairspray may adversely affect the condition of tiaras, pearls and other items of jewellery hired. Please also be aware that perfume should never be worn or sprayed anywhere near Pearls. Subsequently, in this instance, any charges for the professional removal of cosmetic products or repairs resulting from damage to the piece will be deducted from the refundable deposit in such instances. It would therefore be necessary for the person responsible for hiring this item to ensure that the makeup and hairstyling teams for the event are fully aware of this condition and agree to undertake these restrictions while handling and dressing their clients.

Refunds of deposits will be processed once each item has been returned and fully inspected for any deterioration or damage. The cost of any required repairs or replacements. at this point, will be deducted from the deposit refund.

As we are an operational retail business, while we are happy to reserve your rental and confirm your booking in advance of your special dates. if any item sells in the interim (excluding the Tiara / Necklace), you will be offered an alternative piece from our collection. Should we not be able to find a suitable replacement piece for you, a full refund of your rental fee will be made. Notwithstanding, any reserved pieces will be withdrawn from sale fourteen days before your event; therefore, no last minute changes to your busy schedule should occur.

Proof of ID will be required in the form of either a Passport or Driving License accompanied by two further documents - Utility Bill, Bank Statement or Local Authority Letter (all dated within last three months).
