A beautiful 0.45 Carat "F Colour" Diamond Engagement Ring, with Diamond Set Foliate Shoulders, English, Circa 1930
A very fine Platinum (marked) Solitaire Diamond Ring, centrally raised claw set with a beautiful round Old-cut Diamond, assessed by an independent Gemmologist as being of 0.45 Carats, F Colour (an exceptionally high colour grading) and S12 Clarity. The central Diamond is supported on either side by an intricate "Foliate" shoulder design, each set with three Rose-cut Diamonds (6 in total), the additional Diamonds have been assessed as being of 0.09 Carats, H - I Colour, SI3 - I1 clarity.
Total Diamond weight: 0.54 Carats.
The perfect Engagement ring; it should be noted that Diamonds of such a very high colour grade are rare and were extremely scarce during this particular period.
This beautiful ring is accompanied by an independent Gemmologist's report confirming the above assessment.
