A very beautiful & stylish Art Deco Diamond Demi-Bombé Ring mounted in Platinum, Circa 1935
A very fine Diamond Demi-Bombé ring, with stylised Art Deco influences, centrally collet-set with a beautiful Transition Cut Diamond, independently assessed as being of of 0.75 Carats, G Colour and SI1 Clarity.
The Demi-Bombé design is highlighted with eight scrolling open strapwork designs, pave-set throughout with sixty Round Brilliant-cut and single-cut Diamonds. The Diamond shoulders are in a graduated palmette openstrap work designs, leading to a tapering Platinum (tested) shank. The additional Diamonds have been independently assessed as being of 1.50 Carats, F-G-H Colour and VS2 - SI1 Clarity. This report also outlines the total Diamond weight as being 2.25 Carats and the over-all weight of this exquisite ring as 5.84 grams.
The settings are millegrain edged throughout, with some minor wear observed (mostly to the shoulders but this is considered moderate and commensurate with age).
This beautiful ring is accompanied by an Independent Gemmologist's report confirming the above assessment.
