A very fine 1.80ct Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring set in Platinum, English, Circa 1920-1930
A very fine Platinum (marked) Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring, centrally six raised & double claw-set with a Transitional Old Cut Diamond, independently assessed as being of 1.80 Carats, I Colour and SI3 Clarity. The open gallery setting is flanked on either shoulder with two Pavé-set, and millegrain edged Single Cut Diamonds, all set on a finely worked Platinum shank. Unusually the dimensional spread of this cleverly cut Diamond appears to exceed 2.00 Carats, when measured against our standard Diamond Gauge, thereby making the Diamond appear slightly larger than it's actual assessed weight.
This beautiful Engagement Ring is accompanied by an Independent Gemmologist's Report confirming the above assessment.
