Dating to circa 1890 is a finely worked,18ct yellow gold Antique Brooch. It is beautifully crafted in the quatrefoil style with delicate cannetille work and attributed to the esteemed London jewellers Harvey & Gore.

At its centre lies a captivating oval white opal of wonderful colour play, weighing approximately 1.90 carats, which immediately draws the eye. This glowing centrepiece is haloed by eight fine Emeralds, four vivid Rubies, and six sparkling Old Cut Diamonds that together create an array of rare coloured gemstones.

The Cushion Cut Diamonds have been independently assessed as weighing approximately 1.50 carats unweighed, possessing an L to M colour grading and VS2 to SI1 clarity. Complementing these are eight Modified Step Cut Emeralds of Colombian origin featuring minor to moderate oil, totalling approximately 0.95 carats unweighed, alongside untreated Burmese Rubies weighing approximately 0.65 carats unweighed.

Housed in its original fitted presentation box from Harvey & Gore.
