An exceptional and finely engraved 9ct Yellow Gold Bangle, English, Circa 1917

A very fine and beautifully hand-engraved 9ct Yellow Gold half hinged broad bangle with extensive and exceptional "Foliate" engraving to the entire upper half. This substantial bangle is a real statement piece and closes with a sprung tongue fastener which has been fitted with a fine safety chain for extra security. The quality and extent of the hand-engraving is superb and it is worth considering that today's equivalent workmanship would be very costly to achieve. This beautiful bangle, which is so easy to wear, will undoubtedly always be considered a "classic" within any jewellery collection.
