An exquisite Victorian Diamond Starburst Pendant Brooch / Hair Ornament set with 8.30cts. of Old Cut Diamonds (assessed in mounts), in a 15ct Rose Gold & Silver setting (tested), English, Circa 1880

An exceptional example of a very fine Victorian Diamond Starburst Brooch (convertible to a Pendant), generously set with graduated "Old Circular-Cut" Diamonds set in in a 15ct. (tested), "Rose Gold" Silver tipped mount. The central 'Old Cut' Diamond is estimated to be 0.80 Carats, H Colour & VS1 Clarity, the additional (64) "Old Cut" Diamonds are assessed as being of 7.50 Carats, H - I Colour & VS - SI Clarity (total Diamond weight 8.30 Carats). This beautiful Pendant Brooch is complete with a detachable brooch fitting and an "en-tremblant" sprung and adjustable hair fitting. This piece comes complete with an original fitted silk and velvet case.

Accompanied by an Independent Gemmological Report confirming the above assessment (Diamonds assessed in their mounts)..
