An extraordinary example of an "Art Deco" Sapphire, Diamond & Platinum Ring, Circa 1920-1930.

A very beautiful Platinum (tested) with French import marks, Natural untreated Sapphire and Diamond Marquise Shaped Cluster Ring, centrally "Claw Set" with an "Oval Cut" Natural Untreated "Ceylon" Blue Sapphire estimated as weighing 2.00 Carats, surrounded in a "Marquise Shaped" gallery with two "Rub-over Set" large "Transition Cut" Diamonds of 1.05 Carats (total), G - H Colour, SI Clarity and sixteen "Rub-over Set" "Old Round Cut" Diamonds of 1.07 Carats, G - H Colour & SI Clarity (18 in total). Eight of the "Old Round Cut" Diamonds are set into the shoulders with the remaining Diamonds to the gallery. The Diamond settings are all beautifully “Millegrain” edged and the ring is supported by a fine Platinum shank.
It should be noted that untreated Sapphires are rare.
This ring is ring is accompanied by two independent Gemological reports confirming the above assessment.
