An Extremely Beautiful Antique High Carat Yellow Gold (tested - worn marks) Stick Pin set with Diamonds, Natural Pearls, Black Enamel and Black Onyx. Circa 1880

An extremely beautiful and finely worked High Carat Yellow Gold (worn marks) Stick Pin, set with Diamonds, Natural Pearls, Black Enamel and Black Onyx. This exquisite pin is centrally set with an oval panel of Black Onyx which supports three graduated claw set "Old Cut" Diamonds. The Oval panel is surrounded by a Gold worked wreath which suspends six graduating Seed Pearls and one large "Pear shaped" Natural Pearl (un-tested). the wreath is held together at the top by a Black Enamel Gold Ribbon; the overall effect is stunning. The pin to the rear carries a worn French mark and an indecipherable makers mark.
